Kristen joined the Columbus, Ohio Division of Police in 2010. She currently serves as a detective in the Sexual Assault Adult Victims Unit and wears her retired father's badge number 612. In addition to working as a third shift patrol officer most of her career, Kristen has been afforded opportunities to serve in several capacities. She has also worked in PACT (formerly known as VICE) and has assisted with the scoring of police applicant tests on many occasions. Prior to becoming an officer, Kristen held positions within other City of Columbus offices, including the Mayor’s Office, Recreation & Parks, Office of Education, and the Community Relations Commission. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University in Mass Communication and Social Issues, with a Minor in Spanish. She continued her education at Franklin University where she earned a Graduate Certificate in Criminal Justice Leadership.
